This course provides learners with essential skills in system installation, configuration, and troubleshooting, along with practical exposure to network connectivity and performance optimization. Our students are eager to apply their knowledge in real-world settings, enhancing their understanding of Windows Operating Systems and network protocols.

Employers engaging in this collaboration will benefit from the fresh perspectives and technical skills of our students. We expect employers to facilitate regular communication, offer guidance, and provide constructive feedback throughout the project. Employers should also be available for virtual meetings and the final presentation where students will showcase their work and discuss their findings.


As an employer, your role includes:

  • Providing regular guidance and feedback
  • Ensuring the students have the necessary information and resources
  • Conducting a Weekly online inquiry session for questions/ topic support
  • Offering constructive feedback through the Riipen platform

  • Final Report: A detailed report from students highlighting their findings and recommendations.
  • Timecards: An electronic link to the student's timecard will be sent & requires verification from the host.
  • Assessment: An electronic link for a student evaluation that focuses on skills, employability, attitude, behaviour, and accomplishments will be sent & requires completion from the host.

Ideal Projects:

  1. Windows OS Deployment and Configuration: Assist in the setup and configuration of Windows Operating Systems for a new or existing IT infrastructure, including troubleshooting and optimizing system performance.
  2. Network Connectivity Troubleshooting: Work on diagnosing and resolving network issues, including configuring TCP/IP settings and ensuring seamless connectivity across various devices.
  3. System Performance Optimization: Evaluate and enhance system performance by applying best practices for hardware and software management, including security features and performance monitoring.
  4. Hardware and Software Integration: Support in integrating new hardware components with existing systems and ensuring compatibility with software applications.
  5. Mobile Computing Solutions: Help configure and troubleshoot mobile devices within the organization's network, addressing issues related to connectivity and system integration.
