Actors Pocket Guide, a Theatre-focused SaaS company, is in the process of developing a learning management system (LMS) tailored for the arts community. The goal of this project is to create formatted templates & finished samples for various types of "knowledge content" that will be distributed through the platform. These templates & samples will serve as the foundation for creators to efficiently input and organize educational materials, ensuring consistency and ease of use across the platform. The project will allow learners to apply their understanding of content structuring, user interface design, and educational technology. By focusing on template & sample creation, the project aims to enhance the user experience for both content creators and end-users of the LMS.

Deliverables

The project deliverables include a set of formatted templates & finished samples for different types of knowledge content, such as text-based lessons, visual diagrams, and interactive quizzes. Each template should be user-friendly and adaptable to various content types. Additionally, a brief documentation guide explaining the use and customization of these templates will be provided. The deliverables will ensure that content creators can easily utilize the templates to maintain consistency and quality across the platform.

Actor's Pocket Guide, launched in 2018 by theater director Nicole and technology expert Anatole, is a powerful platform designed to streamline theater production while offering tools for learning and company management. Originally created to address organizational and communication challenges in theater, it now supports actors, producers, and arts educators with features like show creation, cast and crew coordination, sheet music sharing, and task assignments.

With the addition of a learning management system, the platform now offers educational modules focused on performing arts, inclusivity, and antiracism. This allows users to enhance their skills while promoting equity in theater. Actor's Pocket Guide will also eventually include a company management system that simplifies scheduling, financial tracking, and other business operations, helping arts organizations run smoothly from rehearsal to performance.

Nicole & Anatole continue to build a bridge between Broadway and theater communities worldwide, empowering users to create inclusive, well-organized productions that shine.
