Actors Pocket Guide aims to enhance user engagement by developing a User Activity Follow Up Action agent. The project involves analyzing user interactions on the platform to determine their current stage in the show production process. The goal is to automate personalized follow-up actions that guide users through their journey, ensuring they receive timely support and resources. This project will allow learners to apply their knowledge of data analysis, user experience design, and automation. The tasks include data collection, user journey mapping, and developing algorithms to trigger appropriate actions. The project is designed to be completed by a team of learners specializing in software development and data analytics within 80 hours.

Deliverables

The project deliverables include a functional prototype of the User Activity Follow Up Action agent, a detailed report on user journey analysis, and a set of algorithms that trigger specific actions based on user behavior. Additionally, the team will provide documentation outlining the development process and recommendations for future enhancements. The deliverables will demonstrate the learners' ability to integrate data analysis with practical application in user engagement strategies.

Actor's Pocket Guide, launched in 2018 by theater director Nicole and technology expert Anatole, is a powerful platform designed to streamline theater production while offering tools for learning and company management. Originally created to address organizational and communication challenges in theater, it now supports actors, producers, and arts educators with features like show creation, cast and crew coordination, sheet music sharing, and task assignments.

With the addition of a learning management system, the platform now offers educational modules focused on performing arts, inclusivity, and antiracism. This allows users to enhance their skills while promoting equity in theater. Actor's Pocket Guide will also eventually include a company management system that simplifies scheduling, financial tracking, and other business operations, helping arts organizations run smoothly from rehearsal to performance.

Nicole & Anatole continue to build a bridge between Broadway and theater communities worldwide, empowering users to create inclusive, well-organized productions that shine.
