Rentsync Application Penetration Testing
The objective of this project is for learners to conduct a comprehensive penetration test on the staging environments of some Rentsync applications. The goal is to identify security vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and potential holes that could be exploited by malicious actors. Learners will apply their classroom knowledge of cybersecurity principles, tools, and techniques to simulate real-world attacks on the applications. This project provides an opportunity to practice ethical hacking, vulnerability assessment, and security analysis in a controlled environment. Teams will document their findings and propose actionable solutions to remediate the identified issues, enhancing the security posture of Rentsync's applications.

Rentsync Nexus Internal Tool UI/UX Design
Rentsync is developing a new internal tool platform (called Nexus) to streamline IT operations and improve efficiency. The goal of this project is to design user-friendly and intuitive interfaces for specific areas of this platform. Learners will be provided with high-level requirements and context for each section they are tasked with designing. Using Figma or a similar design tool, the team will create page mockups that align with the needs and objectives of the organization. This project offers an excellent opportunity for learners to apply their UI/UX design skills in a real-world scenario, ensuring the final designs are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. An ability to grasp technical and complex workflows will be important for the design of these systems. This project is being led by Rentsync's IT team, and the goal at the end of this engagement is to have mock-ups that can be given to a software developer to build the tools you've just designed.
